Roeland joined Gilde in October 2025. Before that, he worked as Finance Director at Warburg Pincus focusing on the investment, finance and treasury operations of the Dutch investment platform. Prior to that, he worked in M&A Transaction Advisory as well as Corporate M&A. He started his career as an auditor.

Roeland holds master degrees in Business Economics (Finance and Accounting) and Fiscal Economics (International tax law and Corporate income tax) from the University of Maastricht. He is a Chartered Accountant (RA) and a member of the Royal Dutch Institute of Chartered Accountants.
