Jean joined Gilde Equity Management as a Partner in May 2026. He brings over fifteen years of investment experience, having spent more than a decade at Kartesia, which he joined in its early days. At Kartesia, Jean focused on supporting mid-market (family) companies in the Benelux, helping them navigate ambitious growth phases with both minority and majority capital solutions. Named Head of Belgium & the Netherlands in 2020 and Partner in 2024, he was instrumental in building the firm into a leading pan-European platform. Jean began his career in Investment Banking at BNP Paribas in 2009. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Engineering & Finance from the KU Leuven.
