Kwantum

Kwantum is a discount retailer that offers an attractive assortment of living products in the areas of coverings (window, floor and wall) and home decoration products at the guaranteed lowest pricing point in the market. The company is the Dutch market leader in window and floor covering, e.g. one of four curtains in The Netherlands is supplied by Kwantum.

Kwantum was founded in 1976 with its first home furniture store named the Kwantum Hallen. Today, the company operates 97 stores in The Netherlands and 13 in Belgium. In 2015, Kwantum was jointly acquired through a management buy-out by its management and Gilde from the listed Macintosh Retail Group. In the years that followed, Kwantum entered into a strategic partnership with Leen Bakker, resulting in the creation of Homefashion Group. In 2026, Homefashion Group was acquired by Orlando Capital.
