In 2020, Gilde and the management team acquired HC Groep from Airvance Group, a French distributor of air handling products. The strategy focused on strengthening HC Groep’s independent and entrepreneurial position and repositioning the company as a strong full-service organisation. In addition, a targeted buy-and-build strategy was executed, including the acquisitions of two well-established Dutch HVAC companies: Coneco, a market leader in building automation and control technology, and Rosenberg, a well-known brand and product leader in specialised composite air handling units. HC Groep subsequently joined Swegon, an international HVAC player, where it serves as a platform for further growth in the Benelux.
