Excluton

Excluton is a leading producer of garden tiles and other landscaping elements. The company distinguishes itself through its innovative character, value-added services and focus on sustainability. Excluton is the only garden tile manufacturer in the Netherlands and the first in Europe with a certified Cradle-to-Cradle recycling system, whereby the company reuses old tiles to produce new products.

In 2022, Gilde was welcomed as shareholder to facilitate the succession of founder Frans van Haren. Backed by Gilde, the focus was on accelerating the international growth ambitions by investing in product innovation, sales and marketing, as well as further enhancements of its unique production location at the Waal riverbank.

Since 2025, Excluton, together with Schellevis and CBS Beton, has formed part of a broader concrete alliance named Metropool Groep. Within this collaboration, the three companies combine their strengths and reinforce each other’s position in Belgium, the Netherlands and beyond. With the support of Gilde, Metropool Groep aims to pursue further consolidation and growth.
