conTeyor is an international reusable packaging solution provider mainly to the automotive industry and is the supplier of choice to Europe’s leading automotive manufacturers such as BMW, Volvo and Jaguar Land Rover. Solutions are tailor-made for every new car model and include technical textiles, thermoformed products, plastic containers and metal racks. They are aimed at transporting car parts like bumpers and door panels from suppliers to OEMs safely, efficiently and with the highest cube optimization in the market.
conTeyor, headquartered in Merelbeke (Ghent) and having production locations in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Mexico and Turkey, has commercial teams in every car-producing country in Europe and is the leader in its market.
In 2018 Gilde has entered into a partnership with the founder and management team to accelerate the ambitious international growth plans of conTeyor. Since then, conTeyor has achieved significant international expansion, particularly in the United States where local production has been established, while production capacity in Europe has also been expanded. In 2024, conTeyor merged with the German company KTP, forming KTPconTeyor, a category leader in closed-loop reusable packaging.
Historically focused on the automotive industry, the company is also seeing strong growth in other demanding sectors such as semiconductors, defence, white goods, logistics and pharma. The combination also reinforces KTPconTeyor’s strong ESG proposition, enabling products to be recycled into new solutions at the end of their lifecycle while customers reduce CO₂ emissions through the use of foldable packaging systems.
