I was weaned in the world of deal making, a very exciting environment but one that’s more focused on short-term transactions. I’ve always been more interested in working with people who are as motivated as I am to make a company thrive and prosper. Private equity is often perceived as being all about figures, but I think it’s more about people. For me, that’s exactly what makes it so appealing.

Our focus is on mid-sized companies, which is where the human factor and working with entrepreneurs can really make all the difference, as well as add true value. Working together with a small team of passionate professionals at Gilde, I feel that I can make a positive contribution to the future of a company.

Managers and employees who are able to reinvent themselves and their respective companies from any given situation. People who can push the envelope and always see new opportunities. That, for me, is what you call entrepreneurial spirit. It calls for relentless effort and conviction. I admire it and it inspires me.
