Grozette produces a variety of fresh as well as dried grated cheeses. The company's products include cheese powders, cheese granules, cheese slivers and freshly grated cheese (various varieties). Grozette has been a household name in the Netherlands and abroad for over 30 years. In 1996, the founding family decided to sell the company to Gilde and P. Bouter Kaascentrale (which distributes fresh cheese on behalf of Albert Heijn, a large Dutch supermarket chain).
In the years following the acquisition, a concerted effort was made to professionalize the procurement, distribution and quality management disciplines.
Grozette has established itself as an international company with activities in more than thirty countries. It was sold to the incumbent management team and Antea Participaties in 2004.
