Codi International

Codi International manufactures wet wipes for companies such as Beiersdorf (Nivea), Procter & Gamble, Sara Lee and Unilever. Codi offers clients a full outsourcing service covering production and - if required - packaging and delivery. Wet wipes are sold to the baby, skincare and hygiene segments. Codi was spun off by OPG in 2001. With the support of Gilde, Codi implemented a long-term strategic plan as a result of which the company's production capacity was expanded and its machinery modernized.
Capital investments that have enabled Codi to consolidate its position as European market leader. Halfway through the implementation of its new strategy, Gilde was approached by Suominen Corporation of Finland (a supplier of non-woven raw materials, used in the manufacture of wet wipes).

The company was sold to Suominen in October 2003.
