Actief Group is one of the largest independent staffing companies in the Benelux and Germany. Actief, founded in Belgium in 1988, focuses on the SME segment with a clear local-for-local and personal approach. It delivers a professional link between supply and demand on the labor market and offers companies an optimal and flexible service in their search for personnel. Together with the management team, we acquired Actief Group from KBC Bank in May 2011.

Since our investment, Actief has successfully exported its business model into four neighboring countries through eight strategic add-on acquisitions, with the proud fact that Actief employs more than 20,000 temps on a daily basis in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Denmark under the Actief Interim, Actief Werkt!, Actief Personalmanagement, Actief Jobmade and Actief Hartmanns brand names.

Today, Actief Group is realizing more than EUR 800 million of sales and is well on its way to become an important Western European player in the temporary staffing industry.
