Zwolle, 15 July 2021 – Gilde Equity Management (GEM) and the company’s management will become the new shareholders of VHZ Groep, the leading manufacturer and installer of uPVC windows and doors in the Netherlands. Today, the group consists of three subsidiaries and brands; Europrovyl (Leeuwarden), Kumij (Groningen) and Transcarbo (Hoensbroek).
In recent years, the VHZ Groep has further expanded its leading market position in uPVC windows and doors. The demand for uPVC windows and doors has been growing strongly for years because of its durability, long lifespan and low maintenance costs. In the coming years, the VHZ Groep aims to play a leading role in the energy transition and the reduction of the housing shortage in the Netherlands.
