Envases Universales de Mexico acquire Pack2Pack International B.V. in Holland

On February 6th 2019 Envases Universales de Mexico have via its European subsidiary Glud & Marstrand AS acquired from Coöperative GEM Benelux B.A. and minority Shareholders 100% of the shares in Pack2Pack International B.V with business address in Halsteren in Holland.

The Envases Universales group is divided into three packaging divisions – PET Packaging, Aluminum Beverage Packaging and Food & Industrial Packaging - each with special competences within their field to serve customers the best way possible. The group currently have fifty manufacturing facilities, three joint ventures and operate on four continents.

The acquisition of Pack2Pack is done by the Food & Industrial Packaging division of Envases Universales group to which the European subsidiary Glud & Marstrand AS also belong. Glud & Marstrand AS employ 1.000 people in Europe and is the largest producer of metal packaging in Scandinavia. Production facilities are located in Denmark and Sweden with export to customers in more than 30 countries.

The Envases Universales group is excited about the acquisition of Pack2Pack. The acquisition is supporting the global growth strategy, expanding the footprint within the Food & Industrial packaging market. Joining the forces of Envases Universales group and Pack2Pack will improve business positioning in Europe allowing the highest excellence of service to the marketplace.
